Finance Minister Iron Murati said the bill is aimed at strengthening institutional capacities and increasing the quality of care in the primary health system through soft financing from the mechanisms of the World Bank, which includes IDA.
This loan deal is worth 18.6m euros and comes with the soft funding conditions with the International Development Association (IDA), which is part of the World Bank. With 25 years of maturity, of which five are period strikers, while 20 years are amortization, with an interest rate of 0.64% annually, reports EO, the Periscope broadcast.
The main goal of the project is to strengthen institutional capacities, as well as increase quality care in the primary health system. The project has three components of the first component: it supports strengthening the cross-border health system network, including improvement, service equipment, development and implementation of the legal framework, strengthening institutional capacities, as well as preparing for reactions to pandemics. The second component: supports the development of an integrated health information system, so it envisions a new hospital system that helps improve the quality of care. The third component: includes support for the management and overall implementation of this project, including assessment and monitoring”, he said.
