The announcement came through a letter from the mother company's lawyer, Alphabet, in response to a republican investigation that the previous Benen administration had forced large technologist companies to erase certain types of content.
Youtube, like other platforms, has facilitated content mode in recent years.
“Youtube praises conservative voices on the platform and acknowledges that these users have broad pursuit and play an important role in public discussion. The company acknowledges that these users are among those today who form online consumption by providing interviews that should be seen and enable viewers to listen to politicians, celebrities, businessmen etc.”, it says on paper.
While in an X post, the platform said: “we have received many questions about a return to YouTube for some previously banned users to create a new channel. This will be a limited pilot project available to some users whose accounts have been erased from policies that have already collapsed. ”
The restoration programme will be presented officially within weeks. /Periscope
