Sony finally prepares a mobile application for parental checks at PlayStation

Application includes an integration process “carefully guided”. Once things are configured, parents can do all they can on the console, including setting up game time limits, viewing activity (day and week) reports, managing spending and creating content filters.

They can also use the app to configure privacy values for social features, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.

A particularly useful feature of the mobile app is real - time reports about what their child is playing. Parents can also approve or reject their child's demands for extra time of play or access to limited games through the app. This feature is likely widely used.

While it's a welcome development, Sony is a little late. The Xbox application Family Setings was launched more than five years ago, and Nintendo's parental checks came even earlier, with the arrival of the original Sitch. Application is already being launched globally starting today. /Periscope
