Known sources with the issue told MacRourors that employees at the authorised Apple retail stores in the European Union are being trained for model iPhone with eSIM support. They have to do this by 5 September.

Apple is expected to discover the iPhone series 17 on 9 September, just four days after employees have to complete mandatory training, it broadcasts Telegrafi.

In the United States, all models from the iPhone 14 series and later no longer support a SIM country and rely solely on eSIM technology.

Apple has not yet done so in other countries, but new information suggests that this could happen with the iPhone series 17.

It is certain that iPhone 17 Air will arrive without a SIM seat in most (if not all) countries, and the reason for that is its ultra-skill design. There's a possibility that there are certain exceptions, such as China.

Apple has support documentation listing vendors around the world who support eSIM./Periscope/
