Iran's Defence Minister, Aziz Nasrzadeh, said the country is ready for any new Israeli attack and added that missiles with capacity greater than those used during the recent 12-day war have been developed.
The “missile used in the 12-day war was produced several years ago. Today we have produced and possessed missiles with capacity far greater than previous ones, and if the sinist enemy starts a new adventure, no doubt we will use”, the minister said, according to the IRNA news agency.
The 12-day clash between Israel and Iran began on 13 June with an Israeli attack, reports themosphyrael.
Israel stated that the sweeping attack against the highest Iranian military leaders, nuclear scientists, uranium enrichment sites and ballistic missile programme was necessary to stop Iran from realising the “open plan to destroy the Jewish state”.
Iran responded to Israeli attacks by launching more than 500 ballistic missiles and about 1100 fear towards Israel.
In Israel's attacks, according to health officials and hospitals, 31 people have lost their lives and more than 3000 have been injured. Meanwhile, at least 430 people have died and over 3,500 have been injured in Israeli attacks in Iran.
