During excavations at Vushtrri, there are remains of mortar allegedly belonging to a person missing during the war

Today, ossuary remains allegedly belonging to a missing person during the 1998/1999 war have been discovered in Vushtrri. According to signal information, the Sector for Investigation of Missing Persons during the War, in co-ordination with the Legal Medicine Institute and the Government Commission for Missing Persons, has carried out a Constitutional Court of Special Department in Pristina, for implementation in the city's cemetery.
During excavations at coded location “TZH”, investigators have encountered in the ossuary remnant of an individual who figures as a strongly missing person on the National List of Missing Persons during the war in Kosovo.
The remains were withdrawn from the scene and sent to the IML for autopsy and identification through DNA analysis. Identification investigations continue.
