Kosovo's National Institute of Public Sanciity has been alarmed at increasing the risk of food poisoning due to high temperatures.
Food security refers to all risks that can cause food damage and, through it, population health. In summer, because of high temperatures, the risk of food poisoning increases. Microorganisms breed faster, and food becomes more perishable. Hence, care in preparation and food conservation is very important in avoiding disease. ”
IK KPS says that contamination of food can come from unclean hands, food, water, domestic animals, insects, and so on.
The drinking is said to be well cooked and consumed immediately after preparation.
“Save food safely: In hot over 60 °C, in refrigerator under 5 °C. Freezed meat and bird meat must be completely melted before cooking. Keep your food well maintained: Before consumption, make sure the food reaches 70 °C again. Avoid contact between raw food and cooked food: Use knives and boards separate for everyone. Wash your hands often and properly: Before and after food preparation, after the toilet, after the change/cleaning of babies or after contact with animals. Keep the kitchen and dishes clean: Piquets and rags change regularly and boil them if they are contaminated. Protect food from insects and rodents: Keep the food in closed lids. Use clean, safe water: If you doubt the quality of water, consume it before use. Check expiration dates and freshness: Avoid unusual products or images. Watch out for food outside the house: Use hand refrigerators or thermosonic dishes on picnics or trips. ”
