Ivica Rajkovic and Dragan Deniz sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexual violence during the war

The Constitutional Court in Pristina on Monday has declared punishful judgment in the absence of Ivica Rajkovic and Dragan Deniz, charged with sexual violation against an Albanian woman during the war and participation in the expulsion of the Albanian civilian population, their plunder, the execution of physical and psychic violence against civilians. The naj Rajkovic and Deniz Act was proclaimed by the chairman of the panel, Beqiri, reports “Battle for Justice”.
Judge Beqiri said the conviction for the accused will be executed in the 15-day term by the day of full might of the act.
The damaged parties were instructed in civil disputes.
The accused are also charged with spending the procedure -- each out of 200 for the judiciary and 100 euros for the funding for compensation of crime victims, all 15 days from the integrity of the act.
By contrast, the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), on November 27th, 2023, has filed charges against indictees Ivica Rajkovic and Dragan Deniz, who are charged with how members of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs police forces during the war in Kosovo, after the start of the NATO bombings on March 24th 1999, during a broad and systematic attack by Serb military, police and paramilitary forces against the Albanian civilian population on the territory of the Pristina municipality, in association with other members of this entity, took part in the expulsion of the Albanian civilian population, the theft of their own civilian population, the physical violence and their personal violence.
The Actakuz says that with the use of violence and other inhumane acts, they have committed sexual violation against the wife of Albanian nationalism.
With this, they are accused of committing criminal work against humanity “by Article 143, par.1, subpar.1.6 and 1.7 regarding Article 31 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Code.
