Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) has issued a statement saying that “a local tactical pause of military activities will be implemented for humanitarian purposes from 10:00 to 800, starting today (sday) at the Gas Strip”.
The statement reportedly says that <x0-pause will start in areas where the IDF is currently not operating: Al-Mawas, Deir al-Balah and Gaza City, every day until a second announcement of”.
This decision-making was reached in agreement with the United Nations and international organisations after discussions on the issue. In addition, certain safe roads will be created at any time between 0600 and 11pm to allow for safe passage of UN convoys and humanitarian aid that distribute food and medicine for the entire Gaza Strip”, the statement follows.
The IDF added that “would continue to support humanitarian efforts in parallel with military maneuvers and offensive operations against terrorist organisations in the Gaza Strip, aimed at protecting Israeli civilians”.
