Speaking to CBS News, Musk criticises Trump's plans for a new tax and spending bill, saying the planned legislation left “disappointed”.
Trump later acknowledges before journalists that “is not satisfied with certain aspects of the bill”, while at the same time it is the excited “for some aspects, such as tax cuts.
However, he does not directly comment on Musk's remarks.

Musk announces he will leave the Trump administration after his scheduled time as a special government employee is over. He had led a mission to reduce costs known as the Government Efficiency Department (Doge).
Friday, May 30th
Trump commends Musk as he appears with a black eye at a press conference on his last day at the White House.
