SPAK: A total of 12m euros worth of property seized by cocaine trafficking organisation

The Special Prosecutor against Corruption and Organised Crime, SPAK, announced on Saturday the seizure of dozens of real estate owned by Elvis Doci and other persons charged as collaborators in drug trafficking, or related persons. According to the SPAK, following the enrichment investigation of 52 members of the Durres-based cocaine criminal trafficking organisation, as well as the assets of related persons, it has become possible to identify and sequist 21 other real estate, units or land that account for the value of 12m euros.
Concretically, eight units owned by society “Musetic Construction” sh.p.k., with a total construction area of 2795 m2. This society's Ortaku, Nazmi Sahini, according to the announcement it turns out to be a person linked to the subject of property prosecution, J.D.. Also, it has been seized and a 300mm-wide site on the Durres beach owned by Sahini.
The court has ruled for six assets owned by a co-owner of Elvis Doci, otherwise known as Po's Vis and his wife. According to the announcement, the Doci has been seized by two units in Durres with a total surface of 312 m2; a basement with 20 m2; as well as three other properties in Durres, with a total of 133 m2.
Other loved ones associated with Docin have been seized with four properties of considerable value in Durres -- four sets of total surfaces of 2071 m2 -- with three buildings with surfaces of 500 m2, 54,52 m2 and 52m2 respectively.
Also, it has been seized and a surface area of 282.5 m2 and the 248 m2 area building located in Durres, which results in the ownership of the citizens of the E.Z. and K.J.
The investigation into members of this criminal organisation, since SPAK leader Altin Daman was named one of the most dangerous in the country, was recorded for criminal acts “Narcotics Trafficking”, carried out in the special form of co-operation, that of the structured criminal group, “Grup structured criminal activity”, “Chief of criminal acts by criminal organisations or structured criminal group<5> and” and <6> Passing of criminal products or criminal activities)>
The SPAK explains that he is continuing the property investigation for all subjects of this criminal investigation.
Through a joint conference held on 21 May, SPAK prosecutors, the Bar Prosecutor in Italy and State Police representatives declared the crackdown on this Durres-based international drug trafficking organisation. The joint investigation was conducted during 2020-2025 and was concluded with the appointment of personal security measures for 52 people in Albania and Italy. According to the prosecution, the illegal activity of this organisation has been documented in Albania, Pulia, and throughout Italy, Germany and the Netherlands, as well as in Latin American countries, from which narcotics and type of cocaine was provided.
The Special Court has issued 29 security measures <x0) prison arrest” in Albania, including Elvis Doci, otherwise known as the post's “Visi” and suspected as one of the organisation's leaders. The Doci, who has taken the nickname “Poja” because of family connection with Jevdet Troplin, has escaped arrest during the 21 May operation and has been declared on the run. Meanwhile, 22 security measures have also been issued in Italy against other members of the organisation.
According to SPAK, investigations have documented 30 episodes of drug trafficking in Italy and 10 other cases in Albania and other European countries. Data from SCY apps has also been used to realise this investigation ECC.
Also recorded are 30 transactions of sending money from Italy to Albania worth about 5m euros.
The property and property assets seized were said to total the value of around 7m euros. Meanwhile, 3 restaurants and a coffee bar in Durres, six societies and a private television station in Vlora have been seized. /Periscope/
