With instructions from Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu arrived in Pyongyang, where he is scheduled to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The Russian Security Council's press service told TASS that the parties are expected to implement certain provisions of the Russia- The RDK on the comprehensive strategic partnership and efforts to perpetuate the memory of Korean fighters who helped free the Kursk” region.

Furthermore, parties are expected to discuss urgent issues on the international agenda, including the situation around Ukraine.

Shoig's previous visit to North Korea took place on March 21st. Then he was received by Kim Jong Un and their conversation lasted about two hours. Shoigu said that he conveyed Putin's message to the North Korean leader. They discussed Ukraine and the beginning of Russia- USA.

In the margins of the 13th International meeting of high-level representatives responsible for security issues held last month, Shoigu met with North Korean State Security Minister Ri Chang Dae. /Periscope/
