Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through a communique for the media on Wednesday, has announced that in close co-operation with the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Israel, it has successfully completed, the evacuation of some citizens of the Republic of Kosovo from Israeli territory through Jordan and Egypt.
The process has been realised in close co-ordination with Israeli authorities and embassies of Albania, Bulgaria, Greece and Egypt in Israel. MPJD expresses its deep appreciation for the co-operation and relief of the process on the part of the relevant authorities of these countries”.
Meanwhile, MPJD has indicated that it is closely following the case of a Kosovo citizen in medical treatment at the “hospital. Soroka” in the town of Bejer Sheva, where it was recently reported for an attack.
It has not been present during the attack and is in good health. The Kosovo Embassy in Israel is in constant contact with its family and is working on realising their evacuation once the relevant conditions” are created.
Also, according to the MPJD, another Kosovo citizen is currently in the process of leaving Israel through Egypt, with the support of the Embassy.
“According to the latest data of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Israel, there are 13 other citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, who have so far expressed no interest in evacuation”, the report said.
The embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Israel, according to the MPJD, remains in full readiness and committed to respond to any request for assistance from citizens, closely co-ordinating with Israeli authorities and international partners for any opportunity to further evacuation.
Because the security situation in Israel continues to deteriorate, The MPJD calls on all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who are located in this territory to show maximum care and to remain alone in safe box”. /Periscope/
