The meeting was held in “Film City” in Pristina.
In an official announcement, Mission NATO in Kosovo suggests that the talks have been an extraordinary opportunity to exchange views on the way better implementation, even in the realm of the KFOR mission, the agenda of women, peace and security, in line with the provisions of UN Security Council Resolution 1325.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999 to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responseors”, KFOR report said.
Today's meeting comes a week after the KFOR conference on women, peace and security held in Thessaloniki on May 27th and 28th. /Periscope/
