Iran's Supreme Leader makes his first appearance since the ceasefire: We'll respond to any future U.S. attack”

Iran will respond to any future US attacks by hitting US military bases in the Middle East, Supreme Leader Ayatolah Ali Khamenei said in his first televised speech since reaching a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.

Khamenei, 86, “fired victory” after 12 days of war that culminated in an Iranian attack on the largest American base in the region, located in Qatar.

As in his recent comments, published more than a week ago during the Israeli bombings, he spoke from a secret location.

In his pre-registered speech, broadcast on state television, Khamenei promised Iran would not surrender, Reuters writes, records Telegrafi.

It becomes known that Trump said “probably” when asked whether the US would hit again if Iran rebuilt its nuclear enrichment programme.

Otherwise, the US president said the US “had eliminated” Iran's nuclear programme.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also declared a historic “victory Tuesday after the fragile ceasefire came into force, saying Israel had achieved its goal to remove Tehran's nuclear and ballistic threat.
