A fire that broke out at a senior hospital in Hamburg, Germany, has left at least three people dead and injured nearly 50 others, police announced on June 1st.
The three victims were between the ages of 84 and 87, meanwhile, authorities said three of the wounded are in danger of life, Periscope.
The fire at the hospital in Marienkkenhouse began about midnight on the first floor of the building.
Some elderly, disabled movement “were evacuated through the corridors of the” building, said fire spokesman Lawrence Hartmann.
Firefighters managed to control the fire before spreading into the building and threatening other patients.
Police in Hamburg said they're investigating the causes of the fire explosion. /REL/
