Albania will welcome the Ministerial of the Co-operation Process in Southeast Europe on Monday (June 16th).
Her own prime minister, Edi Rama, has announced this through a post on social networks, underlining the importance of this event for Albania's position.
Among other things, the head of the government writes that official Tirana is fully committed to promoting the region's progress towards EU integration.
Albania, again at the center of international diplomacy. On June 16th 2025, the Ministry of the Co-operation Process in Southeast Europe is fully committed to promoting the region's progress towards EU integration”, the head of the Albanian government on Facebook wrote.
Tirana received SEECP chairmanship for July 2024 -June 2025, after Skopje, and the next one will be Sofia.
The Southeast European Co-operation Process was initiated in 1996 during the meeting of foreign affairs ministers of countries participating in Sofia, while the first SEECP summit was held in Crete in 1997./Periscopi/
