Xiaomi challenges Tesla, ready to introduce the luxury YU7 electric vehicle

According to Reuters, The CEO and founder of the company, Leigh Jun, has confirmed that YU7 will be presented along with other new products, including the new Xiaomi 15S smartphone. Pro and mobile chip developed by Xiaomi himself, Xring O1.

As for the luxury car, it is known that YU7 descendants of the SU7 sedan, who was launched last year, come as an attempt to increase Xiaom's presence on the luxury electric market.

We remember that, SU7 has had commercial success, passing on for sale as also Tesla Model 3 since December, but after a fatal accident in March, orders were on sale.

Meanwhile, reportedly the new YU7 model aims to restore the brand moment and directly rival the Y Model, Tesla's most sold car.

On the other hand, in the mobile technology sector, Reuters writes that Xiaomi has rekindled the ambition to develop chips, starting with the Xring O1 result of a $1.87 billion investment. It is known that Xiaomi will invest billions more in the development of chips to create an integrated ecosystem, rivalising brands like Apple and Huawei.

And with the launch of YU7 and Xring O1, Xiaomi is signaling that he doesn't see himself as just a phone manufacturer anymore, but also as a powerful actor in the global technology and automotive industry.
