Visa is also working on the initiative with IBM, the internet payment company Stripe and the phone maker Samsung.

For Al development companies, Visa's support could also increase their chances of competing with Amazon technology giants and Google, which are developing their AI agents.
“We think this could be really important”, the chief of the product and strategy of Visa said in an interview.
