“Vetevendosje has put the state in isolation, does not have the numbers”, the latest criticism from the LDK's PDK

The VV continued yesterday with an effort to change the form of voting for the election of the Speaker of the Parliament, to the secret vote but has not received support.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo say that Albin Kurti's Vetevendosje does not have votes and accuses him of putting the state in isolation.

MP Deliu-Codra, comparing the current situation with that of 2014, said the winning party has then managed to co-ordinate its partnership with other parties to secure the majority of votes in the Assembly.

“Political subject Vetevendosje Movement, along with other parties, alternates and Lista Guso, though they don't have the votes to secure enough votes to have the majority in the country, do not have the political will to make a move, either for changing the candidate for the first of the Assembly or for proposals, which have been taken from a parliamentary group for two new names to pass to the democratic hour, or rather to say the constitutional time of creating the government”, Deliu-Kur said at Kodra RTK.

MP Deliu-Codra noted that in the past the Vetevendosje Movement in the past has not voted in favour of any candidate nominated by the subject that has emerged victorious in parliamentary elections.

She added that if there were votes for establishing the government, there would also be votes for choosing the Parliament's first one.

In contrast, LDK deputy Anton Kuni, while speaking of non-compliance of the Parliament for the 20th time, has declared that the Vetevendosje Movement, which has the right to make the proposal for speaker of the Parliament, is failing to ensure the sufficient number of votes.

We like LDK have come up with a project for a comprehensive government with a limited time and a special agenda according to priorities. With this, we have been struggling and trying to give an answer to this situation that has been created, and which the party with the largest number of seats in parliament is failing to make a solution”, he has said.

He has also talked about the LDK bloc on LVV.

Quinn has said the LDK has an experience with LVV during joint governance. “On the part of Vetevendosje has not maintained those preliminary agreements on how to ensure the sustainability of a government. Then, this gap deepens during the mandate of the Vetevendosje Movement government, which has put the state in isolation.
