According to the official announcement, detained persons are suspected of committing criminal acts like:

Training the Influence (Nenish 424),

Taking the Bribery (Nine 421)

The raids have been realised in several different locations, while material evidence has been seized during the police operation involving automatic (callashnikov) weapons, hunting weapons, ammunition, cash ready, mobile phones and computer equipment.

From the ongoing investigative data, the detainees are public officials, who allegedly sought bribes from candidates for driver's license equipment, illegally allowing the passage of procedures for obtaining the license.

Investigations into the case have been conducted for several months with secret investigative measures, by order of the judge of the preliminary procedure and in close co-ordination with the state prosecutor.

The prosecution has indicated that a 48-hour detention measure has been imposed against the suspects and within the legal deadline would apply for the appointment of the detention measure against the defendants.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has reconfirmed her commitment to fighting corruption and warned that she will take all legal actions necessary to prevent such criminal acts.
