The prosecution gives details: Hysri Selimi, suspected of spying on Serbian BIA, paid up to 700 euros

Hysri Selimi, arrested by Kosovo authorities yesterday, at 06.05.2025, as suspected of spying, according to the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), is recruited by Serbia's Intelligence and Security Agency (BIA). According to the PSRK file, Selimi has collected and then provided BIA information on the number of people [...]
According to the PSRK file, Selimi has gathered and later provided information to BIA about the number of radicalised persons and the number of Kosovo citizens who have gone to fight in Syria, reports Callo. com, broadcast Periscope.
P The SRK claims these were not the only information given to the Serbian BIA.
In its file, the Special Prosecutor claims Hysri Selimi has forwarded information to Serbia's secret service even to senior officials of Kosovo political parties, as well as information about Kosovo security institutions.
According to the file, these information collected for Serbian BIA was broadcast through physical meetings going to Serbia's territory.
The prosecution claims Selimi was paid for these activities worth up to 700 euros.
The Special Prosecutor claims that Serbian BIA has also given Selim wise phones used to develop communications with Serbia's officials.
For all these claims raised by P The SRK, in demand for the appointment of the detention measure, specified that Selimi had been under secret surveillance measures.
The special prosecutor has supported the request for the detention assignment in evidence that Selimi was at the point of confirming that he was conducting the spying criminal work.
To confirm this, the prosecution has been spying on Selimi's telecommunication, has been watching it secretly with videos in public places, verified his entry from Kosovo's territory to Serbia, as well as confirmation by Kosovo security institutions that the person with whom Selimi met to provide information is official of the Serbian BIA.
Selimi is in custody after the Court in 07.05.2025 approved the prosecution's request for the move to be appointed.
Hysri Selimi has been charged and convicted over his participation in the Syria war.
