A day after the alarm on social networks for an alleged poisoning case at Gramshi Garden No.1, police “turned the silence” and confirmed that the case is being investigated.
It all started on May 24, when six children were shown in the hospital with signs of poisoning. The first doubts are about a salmonella infection taken through food served at the preschool institution.
Following the outbreak of news on the network, crime investigation specialists launched investigations and procedural materials have already referred to the Elbasan Prosecution.
Police have seized medical records of laid-out children, documentation on garden food supplies, and taken samples from food for laboratory analysis. The products left in the kitchen are blocked.
Under the investigative seat is now the supply chain, food storage and hygiene in the institution's kitchen.
Investigations follow, as parents seek answers to the most disturbing question: How can a basic food safety standards fail so severely in a public child institution?
The response to tests thus far confirms three more salmonella - poisoned children in Gramsh. So in a total of four confirmed cases. They're still testing the rest after 72 samples have been taken in total. /Tch/Periscopi/
