Today Osman meeting with party leaders

Today, a meeting between President Vjosa Osmani and representatives of parliamentary political subjects is expected to take place in the Kosovo presidency.

The advisory meeting at the Presidency is seen as a step towards interparty dialogue, but it remains to be seen whether it will produce concrete results for unblocking the current political situation.

All political parties that have been invited for a consultative meeting by President Vjosa Osmani have confirmed the turnout.

So announced Presidency Media Adviser Bekim Cupina.

Everyone has confirmed their participation in Thursday's meeting with President Osmani” - Kupina said.

The meeting between Osman and political leaders will take place today at 1: 00 p.m.

Yesterday Osmani has warned that meeting with party leaders is only the beginning of a series of meetings and discussions on the issue.

She has added that she does not want to prejudge the results of this meeting, but has wished that each of the leaders would engage by putting Kosovo's interest first.

I thank the leaders of parties who have responded positively. This is just the beginning of a series of meetings we will continue depending on how the discussions go tomorrow, whether in that format or in similar formats, or at meetings one by one with party leaders. As the presidency institution, we are in charge of constitutional tasks because as you know Article 84 stipulates that the country's president is in charge of ensuring the constitutional functioning of institutions. The Kosovo Parliament's non-compliance risks the constitutional functioning of institutions, which is why I have invited leaders to discuss the way forward.
