Krasniqi further says Sosa Jashari chose to stay, speak, organise and not withdraw from the ideal of freedom and equality.

Painfully, I received news of the life-sharing of Sorsha Jashar ʹ founder of the Social Democrat Party, former Kosovo Assembly President and, above all, a figure of Albanian political resistance in Kosovo.
Sosa Jashari was one of the first voices that dared to protect the rights of Albanians within the difficult political system of time. She was present at the most crucial moments in our history as an activist, as a politician and as a signatory to the Kosovo Declaration of Independence.
At a time when politics required sacrifice and when women faced major challenges on the public scene, Sosa Jashar chose to stay, speak, organize and not withdraw from the ideal of freedom and equality.
The deepest condolences to family, friends, and all who have known him. Eternal gratitude for her contribution and courage!
