Kurt doesn't have an emergency, but the non-compliance of the Parliament makes the country poor.

The World Bank has already warned slow economic development in Kosovo this year. The situation, according to field connoisseurs, is expected to exacerbate the political stalemate in the country. This, as many international financial agreements have also been left unselected during the past legislature. Among them is the funding agreement with Association [...]

Saturday has failed the 17th attempt at the Kosovo Assembly Constitution. But how does the failure of institutions affect the country's economic development?

The consequences are serious, warns Kosovo Economic Ode Chairman Lulzim Rafuna. He stressed that failure to comply endangers the country's economy, investments and reforms, follows Periscope.

“has changed to bad and will have major consequences. These consequences are not eliminated overnight. We are too far behind to make reforms and to approve many international agreements. We are behind with the government's establishment, while business needs the drafting of fiscal policies, especially the issue of electricity, which is urgent”, he said.

Even the Alliance of Businesses of Kosovo sees the situation with great concern over the effects of non-formation of institutions.

Agim Sahin, chairman of the Alliance of Business, stressed that this will significantly affect and have major economic and financial consequences. “Because the non-compliance and failure of some agreements dealing with Kosovo's support worth over 1 billion euros are at risk of losing as a consequence of the lack of a functional Assembly and Government”, he said.

Economic knowledge, Safet Gerjaliu, says the political crisis has direct impact in many sectors, deepening economic and social uncertainties.

The “effects of this non-communication crisis harm Kosovo in many ways. In economic terms, the country cannot develop without a real partnership with the European Union. The very fact that Kosovo will be ignored this year by the Western Balkans' Growth and Development Programme is evidence. Under these circumstances, it is difficult to think of attractiveness for foreign investors. On the social side, we face high inflation and the crisis that is deepening daily”, Gerjaliu said.

He added that the impact would also be politically, on the Council of Europe agenda and membership in various credit institutions. / RTK
