The ambassador of Great Britain to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, has said he had the pleasure of welcoming today's Ekaterina Trendafilova, head of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers.
In a Facebook post, he said that with the establishment of this court in 2016, Kosovo demonstrated its commitment to determining the truth and to offer justice to all victims.
“Just as the United Kingdom supported Kosovo in 1999, we continue to support the rule of law in Kosovo and the independence of Specialised Chambers as an integral part of its constitutional system”.
“We know the sensitivity of the tribunal's mandate, but its ability to communicate with the people of Kosovo should not be hindered. Truth and justice must triumph”, written Hargrees. /Periscope/
