“Defender Europe 2025” The Defence Ministry seeks citizens' understanding of military movements in Gjakova

The Defence Ministry has announced that all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, from May 26th to June 9th 2025, Kosovo will be the host of the largest international exercise, led by the United States Army for Europe and Africa “Defender Europe 25”

According to the announcement, it is known that during this period of time, there will be movements of convoys from the Kosovo Security Force locations in the Gjakova region, namely, the Gjakova Airport and the military police station in Boka's Father. This move will be realised in order to execute the international exercise éfender Europe 2550, so we seek understanding of citizens during the exercise period. The Kosovo Security Force through the execution of this exercise will show operational readiness and the degree of combat interoperability with partner countries and the region, including the United States of America, Albania, Croatia, Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria”, the report said.
