Eight people were arrested, of whom six between 32 and 46 years of age é were placed in custody on arrest warrants, while two others were released but remain in investigation. On the same day, Albanian and French authorities conducted similar raids on their territories in co-ordination with Belgian investigations. During the action, about 90 effective police officers participated, including special units and customs services, as well as local police from several cities.
According to Leuven's P.D., 36.5 kg of cannabis were seized during the raids, as well as other narcotics such as ketamine, cocaine, ecstasy, smiling gas and amphetamine. Also found were priors, firearms, and other material evidence that further investigation will be held. /Periscope/
