The office of Kosovo Prime Minister and Albin Kurti themselves have expanded their spending last year of governance compared to the first eight months when they received the mandate in 2021. The data, Dukaagini television has provided them with a request for access to public documents. Expenses have been raised in all categories and mostly spent on lunches and dinners and cabinet events. Kurt for two categories chose not to take a cent for four years.
The symbolic sum of just 3 thousand and 425 euros and 84 cents had spent Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his entire staff at lunch for 9 months of the first year when they took power.
But things have changed over the years, especially in the last, in 2024 when they spent lunch and cabinet events 32 times the first year.
Thus, of about 3 thousand and 500 euros, those costs of the prime minister and his cabinet last year amounted to 112 thousand and 332 euros and 87 cents.
According to this estimate, on average a day Kurti and his staff spent 307 euros on lunches and dinners, or almost as much as a minimum wage in Kosovo, which is 350 euros from last year, reports Dukagini, broadcast Periscope.
This data, Dukaagini has received through a request for access to official documents to the Prime Minister's Office.
But not just at lunch and dinner. In all other categories, Kurt's spending and his staff increased, including acomom, travel tickets, ups and downs.
Thus, in the first year of governance, Albin Kurti and his staff spent six categories within March and until December 33 thousand and 962, in 2022 that figure amounted to 192 thousand and 369 euros, in 2023 were spent 208 thousand and 893 euros, and in last year a total of 315 thousand and 588 euros. So compared to the first year, the spending of the Prime Minister's Office in 2024 has seen an increase of about 829%.
In the data Kurt's office has provided, it has not specified how many people are involved in the Prime Minister's Staff, but only sent it as a special category.

In the first year, for example, the staff spent only two thousand and 783 euros per ticket, and that figure rose annually until it peaked last year to 62,000 and 995 euros.
It was the same with the wages, where Kurt's staff received 39 thousand euros in 2021 last year, and these were raised annually.
The only thing that didn't change here is that Albin Kurti chose since he was prime minister never to hire and not use the phone expenses that belonged to him.
But these were used by his staff who spent between 3 grand and about $9,000 a year on a telephone.
Rich money was also spent on plane tickets, especially in 2024, where 76 thousand and 736 euros were paid for, of which some 63 thousand of Kurt's staff, close to 13 thousand by the prime minister himself.
Like his staff, Kurti, in 2024, grew to the cost of accommodation where he spent about 23 thousand and his staff over 46 thousand.
Although Dukaagjini television's request had been submitted to the prime minister for the entire mandate, they have offered no expense for 2025. /Periscope/
