Ahmeti: Elections in Albania, testimony that official Tirana has been offered with European standards

“Albania once again witnessed its democratic maturity by successfully passing another key test on the path towards full integration into the European Union.

The elections were held in a calm and orderly atmosphere, where citizens exercised the right to vote in a free manner and with a democratic culture that does honour not only the country but the entire region. This is an example that draws Albania closer to European standards.

I hope that even the counting process will be completed with professionalism and transparency, in accordance with the law and the will of citizens.
