72 new deputies in Albania's Parliament

Albania's 11th Parliament legislature will be marked by a new parliamentary composition, with 72 MPs receiving the mandate for the first time. The new projects are of all political forces, but most come from the Socialist Party, which secured 83 mandates in the May 11th elections. From [...]
The Democratic Party, which will be represented by 50 deputies, brings 6 new names through the preferential vote, among them only one woman Jirida Tabaku, who will continue the mandate in Tirana district.
Among other parties, Tom Doshi's return to the Assembly is noted through the Social Democrat Party, while two other MPs are new names. The possibility party, which secured 2 mandates, returns Agron Shehuaj, and the other MP is a new representative from Tirana. Two other political forces will be represented for the first time in the Assembly by one MP each.
In this legislature, for the first time after 1992, Pandeli Majko will not be part of parliament, excluding a year's absence during 1996-1997. He has served as an MP for nine consecutive legislatures. Along with him, 42 other Socialist Party deputies, who have held one or more mandates earlier, will not be part of the new Assembly.
In the ranks of the DP-led opposition coalition, approximately half of the current deputies will guard their seats in the next legislature.
