Today's third attempt, following two VV failures for Albulen Haxhiu, the chief parliament officer

Today, beginning at 1500, will continue Constituent sessions, with points left over from previous hearings, which are the election of the Speaker of the Parliament and the election of the vice president of the Parliament. For the third time on Saturday, the new MPs gathered to establish the Kosovo assembly. After two failures, the third attempt proved successful.
The report on quorum verification and mandates passed, and then MPs took the oath.
However, the selection of the mayor failed twice.
Vetevendosje nominated Albulen Haxhiun for the post of Parliament Speaker, but in both votes, Haxhiu did not get the necessary majority -- initially 57 votes per, 20 against and 3 abstentions -- and in the second attempt at 57 per, 19 against and 3 abstentions.
The Social Democrat Initiative and two deputies of non-Serb minorities abstained.
Session aborted and will continue at 1500 today.
One of the deputies of this party that recently alluded that the VV has the necessary votes is Arber Rexhaj.
I think the Vetevendosje Movement on the basis of the discussions we've had in the parliamentary group we have the numbers to do this. Now it's a matter of both the prime minister and the name of the prime minister that I know you'll ask me whether the composition of the government cabinet “is, he said, adding that Albin Kurti “will reveal it to citizens in the most possible transparent form”.
Another MP who expressed himself with this assurance is also Ejup Macedonia
We definitely have the numbers. We are all aware that the Vetevendosje Movement is the winning party and it is not a win-win anyway... the opposition seeing this danger to prevent that two successive session of the constitution that is a blow to democracy... the day has been very clear. A consultative meeting has been called that has had to do with the procedural aspect, but with the aspect of consultations before entering the session in order to avoid the possibility of any constitutional or legal violations and has been the reluctance of a part of the opposition to even communicate. We promote dialogue and consultations as a key tool before we make common national political decisions”, Macedonia declared.
Safe in VV numbers, MP Faton Peci also said the Vetevendosje Movement has numbers for forming the new government.
In addition, days ago there was MP Halil Thaci, who had assumed that the VV has 63 votes.
I am hoping we will do it without the PDK, and the prime minister will be Albin Kurti and parliamentary leader Glauk Konjufca. By the vote, 63 votes, a total of 63 votes are made by MPs. Of those responsible for the state of the Republic of Kosovo, he has said.
Persuasived in the establishment of the new VV government, MP Arbesle Kryziu-Hysen has also indicated.
On Tuesday, April 15th, I believe it will begin with the constitution and then the other procedures. I know the prime minister will be Albin Kurti again and Kurti Government 3 will be formed. This is certainly done if we have the numbers. And I believe we have”, she said.
On the other hand, unlike his party members who have been so loud, Albin Kurti, has been silent at all. In almost every appearance of him in the last few days, when he appeared to reporters, he has not been promoted. Among many microphones and questions, Kurt never gave a comment.
Amid his silence and numerous statements by VV deputies, it is still certain that this party has a majority.
Also explaining here is the fact that, the party, which has been closest to the VV for a possible coalition -- NISMA's -- today -- did not support Haxhi for chairmanship of the assembly. Not giving good marks for a possible coalition between them.
