He has criticised the appointment of Demo Berisha, Albanian close to Serbian power as human rights minister, stressing that the move does not reflect the interests of the Albanian community.
The appointment of a close candidate with power, without the legitimacy of representatives of Albanians in Serbia, shows that minority rights are not a priority. This position is more for political spectacles than for real involvement”, he said.
Regarding the new government's approach to Kosovo, Kamberi said that every signal for change is missing and that the policy of denying reality continues.
This is a government of continuity. In the exhibition and the mandate was never mentioned minority rights, freedom of expression or political crisis, a disturbing message for the future”, Kamberi has said.
Shaip Kamberi stressed that the new government has no will to address real democratic challenges in Serbia and that the Albanian community continues to remain outside the decision-making institutions, despite repeated promises of equal integration. /Periscope
