Russia continues attacks on Ukraine, hits Sloveniansk town

The rocket, aimed at a residential area, also damaged surrounding buildings, and medical teams that arrived at the scene following the attack sent the wounded to the hospital.
The latest attack comes after a Russian drone hit a bus carrying workers to the town of Marhanets earlier this morning, killing at least nine people.
The full extent of the attack, which kept Kiev awake and Ukraine's eastern half for several hours at night, was not immediately known.
The “Russians attacked a bus with employees of the company going to work in Marhanets,” said Mikola Lukasuk, chairman of the Dnepropetrovsk regional council.
Serhiy Lisak, governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region, which includes Marhanets, in central and southern Ukraine, said nine people were killed and at least 30 were injured.
In Kharkiv, Poltva, Odessa, Kiev region and the Dnepropetrovsk region, another night passed under attacks with Russian fears targeting civilians and critical infrastructure.
Ukrainian emergency service reported that there has been another attack on Sinelnikivsky neighbourhood in the Dnepropetrovs region, in which two people were injured and a fire broke out at an agricultural company.
Russia also carried out a <x0massative” raiding in Ukraine's central region, Polta, injuring at least six people, emergency services said.
Two people were injured in a fearful attack on civilian infrastructure on the outskirts of the town of Odessa, which also caused several fires, said Olech Kiper, governor of Ukraine's southern region of Odessa.
Major fires also broke out as a result of an attack on Russian fears in Ukraine's second largest city, Kharkiv, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said in Telegram.
Air defence units were also engaged in curbing attacks on the Kiev region, but there were no reports of possible damage./Periscopi/
