Renault Clio will be with a speed limit to 109 km/h

French car maker Renault has announced that it will place speed limits on one of the smallest known models in an effort to improve road safety.

Since July 1st of last year, all new cars in Europe must be legally equipped with a system warning drivers if they have violated the speed limit and new Renault models sold by 2022 already have them.

Renault says the new Clio will be available with an automatic speed limit device, mainly because of its popularity among young drivers.

The maximum speed limit will be at 109km an hour. But this system does not come for free, its installation price is 59 euros./Periscopi/
