“History has placed us at a crucial crossroads: between the elections for governance of the next four years and a historic opportunity for Albania to become a full member of the European family“, Rama said from the platform.
He stressed that Socialists have 30 days ago to convince any citizen who dreams of seeing Albania “zosa in the EU Hall” and himself as equal citizens in Europe, reports Express, broadcast Periscope.
In his speech, Rama cited Skenderbeun as “the messenger of Albanian independence”, naming him as the figure that sowed the seed of national greatness.
We were a people abandoned by beliefs, but filled with hope. A people who are not touched by fate but who knowingly choose to be part of Europe, not as mercenaries, but as a slave to virtue”, Rama concluded.
The prime minister underlined that this campaign is not just a race for power, but a historic mission for Albania's European future. /Periscope/
