Kosovo's presidency has accepted the letter from the Parliament after Tuesday failed to constitute the ninth legislature. On Tuesday, the head of the Avni Dehari session has interrupted the Kosovo Parliament's constitutional session.
Dehari said that following the situation created with the failure of the mandate confirmation report, the session is terminated.
Because of the circumstances created since the commission's report did not get enough votes under these circumstances, we should stop the session and with a letter inform the president of how to get back from”, Dehari said.
The interim Commission's report on verification of mandates did not pass. 52 deputies were in favour, 46 against 11 abstained.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo have voted against the interim commission report.
Meanwhile, in favour of this report, MPs from the Vetevendosje Movement and the Initiative have voted.
