Kosovo police have announced that today they have conducted raids on the offices of an economic subject in Pristina under investigation for criminal activity “Deception”.
Allegations are linked that a citizen has been asked for over 100,000 euros for the recovery of a family member at a hospital in Istanbul, though expenses were covered by the government.
Two suspects, I.P. and A.B., have been detained for 48 hours and another is on the run.

Kosovo police, the Financial Investigation Sector, today in24/04.2025, under investigation into criminal fraud, have conducted a raid on the offices of an economic subject in Pristina, given the Constitutional Court's ordinance.
Allegations are related to the fraud of a citizen who has been asked a total of over 100,000 (a hundred thousand) euros for the recovery of a member of his family at a hospital in Istanbul, though expenses were covered by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
During the raid, documents and equipment have been provided as additional evidence.
Two initial suspects; (I.P.) and (A.B.) have been detained for 48 hours, while another suspect is on the run.
Investigations are continuing by authorities for the complete dawning of the case and ensuring justice for all possible victims.
