Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) has recommended the suspension of two police officials engaged at the Kacanik Police Station.
The suspension recommendation has been given to Operational Unit Chief Yaser Jaha, and to the Court Liaison Unit overseer Jaldeze Krasniqi.
In a photograph provided by Insander, the suspended police officer, Yaser Jaha, were in close contact with Sergeant Muhamet Lika. In 2020, Sergeant Lika had posted a photo in which he and Jaha appeared to donate blood, broadcast Periscope.

According to the Kosovo Police Inspectorate's announcement, IPK investigators have initiated preliminary investigation into the implementation of the ordinance for the arrest of Rayhan Bella, suspected of involvement in the case of police sergeant Muhamet Lika.
From the investigative actions so far and official communications accepted, The IPK has raised reasonable doubts that two police officials have failed in fulfilling official duties and have shown serious neglect in executing this warrant for arrest.
“From the documented information provided by the IPK, there is doubt that a police lieutenant, in the position of chief of the operating sector, has been aware of the warrant for arrest, but allegedly has not taken concrete operational action to locate and apprehend the wanted person.
Also, based on investigative actions, a police sergeant, engaged in the quality of the supervisory unit for liaison with courts, has failed to report on time and accurately for the warrant for arrest, as well as allegedly not taking the necessary steps for its execution”, the report said.
Both police officials for whom The IPK recommended suspensions were engaged in the Kachanic Police Station.
