In this village of Drenas, 53 Albanian civilians were brutally killed by Serb forces, among them five babies.
He said the victims' bodies were burned three times to eliminate traces of crime, while family guards preserved ashes and memory for their loved ones.
Kurti stressed that the evidence of this crime is stored in the Musqolli family's museum house, decorated with government support. He called on the justice system to act, calling the record of such crimes a national responsibility.
Eternal “is memory of the sacrifice for freedom. Glory to all martyrs and martyrs of the nation”, Kurti concluded.
