If the VV really has interest in choosing the Speaker of the Assembly, it should make at least minimal efforts to ensure the necessary support. So far, more energy is being spent on building a narrative that it is denying a right that, according to it, is being granted by the people.
But the numbers in the House do not change by themselves. Dialogue is not accomplished only through public statements. And the head of the House is not elected by the people, but by the deputies who represent them.
If the will to compromise with other parties is lacking, the only normal step is to pave the way for others to try to form the majority. The will of citizens for forming institutions after a democratic election process cannot be held hostage by any political subject.
