KFOR soldiers train for crowd control, riot management

The NATO-led Tactical Reserve Battalion (KTRBN) and Multinational Specialised Unit (MSU) of the NATO-led KFOR mission held training for crowd and riot control at Camp Novo Selo to maintain their high operational readiness. A phase of activity took place in close co-ordination with the (MSD) Mobile Support Development and the Tactic Team (TPT). During the exercise, a ball of water was established as part of the training.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999 to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
