The Rahovec municipality has announced that on April 25th (April) they will re-crown the remains of Elhami Tahiraga, killed in the Serbian attack in July 1998.
The identification of his bones was made in March through the scientific method of DNA, the Government Commission for Missing Persons has announced.
“After 26 years, thanks to the identification carried out by the scientific DNA method, it has become possible to identify Elham's (Camil) mortor remains from the war period in Kosovo. The Government Commission for Missing Persons, together with the Law Medicine Institute, has officially informed the Tahiraga family of the results of the identification process”, the Commission's announcement said.
The redependence ceremony is organised by the Rahovec municipality and the Government Commission.
