The host of the session, Avni Dehari, has interrupted today's session after the second-time failure of Albulen Hadziu's chief parliamentary election, which her party proposed for the post, writes. Periscope.
The Kosovo Assembly has failed to elect the new chairman even today. Even after two attempts, the candidacy proposed by the Vetevendosje Movement, Albulen Haxhiu, has failed to secure the necessary number of votes to be elected chief parliament.
“Seconcation aborted for 48 hours, continues at 15:18x1> Monday, Dehari said.
In both rounds of voting, Haxhiu received 57 votes, failing to reach the 61-vote quota required to get the post.
After the second vote, the head of the constitutional hearing, Avni Dehari, decided to terminate the session for 48 hours. He announced that the session will continue Monday at 1500.
We remember that prior to the vote Glauk Konjufca also asked opposition deputies to vote in Haxhi as deputy.
