The decision was issued on March 21st 2025 and includes a 3 thousand-euro fine against this public enterprise, after an NGO had asked for access to the tender “Funding with two trucks for maintenance needs”, but the request was rejected by CRU Gjakova.

Krasniqi, who was Arrested Because of allegations of misuse of official position and tender manipulation, it was warned by the Agency for Information and Privateness to allow the parties access to documents. However, he had refused to be transparent, despite remarks given by the Agency for Information and Private.

According to the verdict Periscope made, KRU Gjakova, who was under the direction of Hasan Krasniqi, is obliged to pay the fine within 30 days of its pronunciation.

 

Therefore, Hasan Krasniqi, who had been competing under Vetevendosje's silhouette for municipal assembly in Gjakova, faces several charges.

He was arrested in February of the year 2024 in Bulgaria, After an international warrant for suspicion of human trafficking.

Later, he was arrested for buying a boat worth 24 thousand and 500 euros without customs, by a company founded just a month before winning the tender.

Similarly, according to the Prosecution, Krasniqi is suspected of setting up a tender for the service of KRU Gjakova cars. After these developments, in March of this year, he has been temporarily relieved from the company board.
