The Albanian government has declared the 15th and 16 May 2025 days of vacation for employees of several state administration institutions. The decision adopted by the Council of Ministers, following the prime minister's proposal, includes institutions that have headquarters in Tirana, Kamza, Vora and Kruje.
The exception, however, is Armed Forces, State Police, Republican Guard, fire service and health system employees, who will continue their services.
Work day for these institutions will be replaced by other days of rest by 2025. The decision goes into effect after publication in “Official Font”. The move has been taken within the framework of European Union leaders' visit to Tirana, and aims to facilitate organisation of activities and ensure a calm environment during the stay of top international delegates. /Periscopi/
