The Colonel, Bekim Zejnullahu, has been accredited as a Kosovo defence attaché in Germany, officially taking this post from Lieutenant Colonel Besim Gashi, who has held office so far. The Ministry of Defence has made that known through a post in “Facebook”, where it wrote, remains committed to advancing international partnerships and dignified representation of Kosovo's interests on a global level.
Colonel Zejnullahu, after taking office, stressed the importance of close co-operation with international partners, especially Germany, in the field of defence and security.
“In the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Germany has been held the surrender-accession ceremony of the defence attaché, with Colonel Bekim Zejnullah officially taking up this important post from the decomposing subcolonel Besim Gashi. During his stay in Berlin, Colonel Zejrullahu made significant visits to the German and Bundeswehr Defence Ministry, thus continuing to deepen close co-operation between the two countries in the military and strategic field. The defence ministry remains committed to advancing international partnerships and dignified representation of Kosovo's interests at the global level”, the report said.
