Blocking the Assembly, Deda: You can't ask for help and at the same time impose ... nobody owes submission to the dictatorship

Political analyst Ilir Deda has reacted to current political developments in the country, emphasising the need for a more cooperative and responsible approach in the process of electing the Speaker of the Assembly.

In a writing on his Facebook profile, Deda stresses that when political agreement is required for such a position, it implies consensual involvement. According to him, no one owes submission to the dictatorship.

When seeking political agreement on electing the Prime Minister, this implies consensual candidate, acceptable to political subjects from whom it requires votes. Or he does not seek political agreement and does propaganda. No one owes submission to the dictatorship,” wrote Deda.

According to him, a stable agreement cannot be reached if a spirit of co-operation and mutual respect in politics is lacking.

You can't even ask for help, even with the laptop. The outcome of the political agreement does not know that it is not up to you, but to everyone. So you can't even force early elections if the others that are the majority don't want to,” he added.

The decade defines the current situation as a reflection and lighting point for the political class, calling for a full re-defination of approach to political opponents.
