Berisha has said that before Kurti unveiled the PLE programme and the demands of the Egyptian community, suggesting they have sought to influence government policies.
“Sic you know, Prime Minister Kurti has begun his commitment to meet with non-Serb community representatives in this case, and we have been invited. Normally, as a parliamentary party now restored to the assembly, after four years and after many injustices that have been committed to us as the Egyptian Liberal Party, we have returned and have been in the prime minister's accounts, to meet. We talked about possible cooperation between us. Normally, we like PLE, because of our demands that are in relation to the development of the Egyptian community, in principle, have no red lines with anyone. Neither with Prime Minister Kurti nor anyone in Kosovo. We had our requests, and if we enter the government, we asked that with the possibility that with influence in government policies”, Berisha said.
On the other hand, Berisha has indicated that PLE will be part of the 15-April constitutional session, saying no concrete agreement was reached today for forming the government.
The “E gave up a party programme, which we had during the campaign, which is the needs of the community, and it has remained, in the coming days, to have meetings again, and to finalise them. This was a first date. We will be in the convent on the day the constitutional hearing is held, while for the rest, of course, we will expect a moment when we are ready”, Berisha said. /Periscope/
